JOHN and QUEEN OF THE SUN: What are the Bees Telling Us? SEED will
investigate the untold story of seeds, the basis of life on earth. As
many irreplaceable seeds are nearing extinction, the film follows heroes
working tirelessly to preserve agricultural security and seed diversity
in an uphill battle against high-tech industrial seed companies and an
impending global food crisis. Our goal is to make an inspiring,
uplifting film that will encourage communities to take action and create
positive change.

The Last Shaman is the third installment in the compelling documentary saga of Paja Thao, a Hmong shaman who is now battling his health to continue his traditional way of life. His children, the youngest who are now grown and in college, the oldest with kids of their own, are trapped between two worlds. The Last Shaman captures the relationship between Paja, his children, and their connection with the Hmong culture in America. With each generation of Paja's family becoming increasingly distant from the Hmong tradition, and with the tradition of shamans quickly perishing, how will the Hmong culture continue?

Oregon, despite it’s reputation as an epicenter for sex-trafficking, is
battling this problem with increasing efficiency, resolve, and results.
So while the unthinkable specter of pimps preying upon children still
remains, there is hope.
Every day, women, men and children are being trafficked for sex against their will. Whether they arrived at their situation through poverty, abuse, circumstance, or the family they grew up in, one thing is clear -- those who are trafficked are trapped in a world that is both awful and seemingly impossible to get out of.
Where do they come from and how did they get there? Who are the people that get caught up in sex trafficking? Can they escape? What can we do individually and collectively to turn back the tide that is pulling so many under?
Through
documentary film-making, we aim to shed light on these questions and
challenge viewers to take a hard look at what may be going on in the
city they live in, their own neighborhood, or even right next door. Our
documentary intends to shed light on the problem, to reveal the ongoing
fight, and to prove that at the end of the day, redemption exists.
