In The Dyslexic Advantage, leading scientists, educators, and innovators invite viewers to see dyslexia in a new light. The film explores the creative and powerful ways dyslexic minds think, problem-solve, and shape the world.

From ocean explorer Dr. Robert Ballard, who discovered the Titanic, to architects, designers, engineers, and artists, the film reveals how dyslexia’s distinct wiring can fuel discovery, storytelling, and innovation.

Ballard describes reading The Dyslexic Advantage as a life-changing moment — “it explained me to me.” The film carries that same insight to families, educators, and students everywhere: dyslexia is not a defect to overcome, but a different way of processing the world — one that our culture deeply needs.

Combining animation, interviews, and breathtaking visuals, the film traces how challenges in early schooling often obscure hidden talents. It shows how understanding dyslexic strengths can transform classrooms, careers, and lives.
