DISTRIBUTION

Collective Eye Films is an impact, educational, and non-theatrical distribution company, with a focus on stories that present the critical issues of our time. Our boutique collection of acclaimed documentaries and narratives are selected for their quality and demonstrable use in critical study.

Our main focus is documentary feature films but do occasionally take on narrative features and documentary shorts. Our core subject areas fall within environmental studies, gender & sexuality, and current social issues.

OUR MARKETS

EDUCATIONAL

We primarily serve the educational market, which is defined as universities, colleges, K-12 schools, and other institutional bodies of learning. We license our films to these organizations for long term classroom use, single campus screenings, and educational conference events.

NON-THEATRICAL

Non-theatrical rights cover single screening events that fall outside of the educational market, most commonly nonprofits and corporate entities looking to use the film for fundraising or education. We always work non-exclusively on these rights, so you as the filmmaker never lose the ability to set up an individual screening yourself.

ROYALTIES

At Collective Eye Films we value transparency and clarity with our filmmakers. We’ve found an amazing partner, Curve Royalty Solutions, that provides our artists and distribution partners with powerful analytics and a user friendly portal. Our clients get email notifications and paperless statements every quarter with a detailed breakdown of sales and expenses across all channels so you know exactly what you’re getting in a royalty payment and why.

ACQUISITIONS

Producers, sales agents, or all-rights distributors interested in having their film selected for catalog placement should submit a password protected screener link, trailer, list of festival selections, and note any educational merit of the film. All information should be submitted to info@collectiveeye.org. Please allow at least 2-4 weeks for review. With the high number of submissions we receive, we do try to get back to everyone but can not always promise a response.
