In this modern, coming of age documentary, Naomi, Jojo and Arham grapple with economic divides, gender roles, and family dynamics while competing in the fastest growing high school sport in the country: women's wrestling. ALL AMERICAN follows the lives of three immigrant and first-generation high school women wrestlers, who train and compete against both boys and girls, as their devoted coaches prepare them for competition and lives beyond high school. Family dynamics, economics and gender roles collide in this underdog story of community and found family. Personal evolution and transformation are forged through challenges encountered on and off the mat over 5 years of filmmaking, high school and eventually, college wrestling. Bound together by the perspectives of veteran women wrestlers, ALL AMERICAN maintains an inspiring tone while confronting tough realities of trailblazing female athletes and American immigrant families.

Mark is a New York-based photographer, cinematographer, and director with an instinct for great images and an easy, magnetic presence that makes people want to work with him again and again. He studied photojournalism and art history at the University of Miami, lived and worked across Europe for years, and has been shooting on location around the world ever since — for major global brands, advertising agencies, and editorial clients across virtually every category.

His ability to walk into any environment, read the room, and turn a set into somewhere people actually want to be is what keeps clients coming back — some for years, some for decades. From kids to fashion models, professional athletes to American Presidents, Mark brings the same warmth, humor, and zero-drama energy to every job. The result, every time, is images with genuine life in them.

His work is held in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institution and has been shown at the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall.
